Reminder

Greetings all,
I wanted to send out a reminder note about Monday's open ritual with Starhawk. The workshop portion of the event is sold out, with a waiting list, but there's plenty of room for more at the evening's ritual.

We are accepting donations for the ritual on a sliding scale to help pay for the space, Starhawk's fees, and extra money will go toward Milwaukee Pagan Unity Council's Ostara festival. However, please know that you are welcome to attend regardless of whether or not you donate financially, so please consider joining us.

The Milwaukee Pagan Unity Council is hosting a dinner at Wehr Nature Center from 5:15-6:15, with details below. You're welcome to purchase dinner from the group, or bring along your own or something from a restaurant. This is a good opportunity to meet people from the local Pagan community and share connections and resources. Blessings!

Starhawk: Holding Power Well

How do we find the source of our true power from within?
What blocks us from being empowered, effective, courageous people?

We will consider power within sacred space, and through ritual, trance, drumming, song, movement, and energy work develop the tools we need to transform destructive patterns into energies freed for change.

Open Public Ritual
Monday, March 1st 6:30pm-9pm
Join us in for an open ritual to celebrate the season of the returning light. Will you hold the vision of your own light and step into your personal power? What is your relationship to power with your self, your community, and the world around you? Will you heal your relationship to power with Self, Community, and the Earth? This ritual will be offered in the ecstatic, inclusive style of Reclaiming and is open to participants of any tradition.
Registration & Donations
Donations are accepted at the ritual from $1-$100 to help pay for expenses. Please pay what you can afford, no one will be turned away.

Dinner: 5:15 pm to 6:15 pm
For dinner, Milwaukee Pagan Unity Council has offered to set up an organic vegan meal and with a meat option (non-organic) for $7.50 - $10.00 sliding scale. They will also be hosting a bake sale; proceeds will go to the local Pagan Assistance Fund. Beverages will also be available for purchase or filtered water, tea and coffee will be available for free (if you bring your own mug.)

If you plan to purchase dinner from the Milwaukee Pagan Unity Council, please sign up by emailing ivonywynters@ gmail.com, and indicate any food allergies or dietary restrictions.

You may also eat at the Wehr Nature Center and brown bag your own dinner, or eat dinner at a local restaurant.
